In fact, Pinterest is a very simple way to get your product or services in front of millions of eyes, especially given the popularity of visual engagement these days.

To help get you get started we have pulled together 5 ways you can use Pinterest for your business.

Showcase your products.

Create boards based on holidays, promotions, categories, and audiences. In order to target your audience, you will need to pin your product into a category. This will give pinners an easy way to explore your products visually. 

Get customer feedback on your products and services.

Create a board that allows pinners to pin a product or service they like. This will allow you to see what products of services consumers are looking are looking at. You can use this information to create campaigns or promotions. You now have valuable intel to determine what your focus in upcoming months should be.

Highlight your services.

Not every business on Pinterest sells products. You can use the platform as a visual resume. For example, if you are a photographer you can pin your photos and showcase your work. Create separate boards for different types of services you offer. Potential clients will be able to get a sense of the work you do when you showcase your services in a visual way.

Increase brand authority.

Utilize Pinterest boards to provide useful and educational information to your followers in fun ways. For example, if you own a brewery you can use the platform to showcase recipes with beer. If you showcase your brand authority effectively your followers will think of your account as the go-to place for information about your subject.

Drive traffic to your site.

You want to create pins that your followers will want to repin. The most successful pins have great images with content that either solves a problem, inspires or appeals to someone’s desire or interest. The more you think about your customer when creating pins the more likely they are to repin which will increase traffic to your website. Remember you need to create great content on your blog with compelling photos for your blog and pin them to drive people to your website.
